Transferring Ownership of Your Solar System

If you are selling or refinancing your home with a Forme Solar solar system, follow the steps outlined to initiate the solar monitoring transfer process. 

Note: Only the system owners can initiate the contract reassignment process. If you are the buyer or escrow, reach out to the system owner to initiate the contract reassignment process with us.

If you have recently purchased a house or building with an Enphase system and would like to gain ownership of the system, please click this link to initiate the change of ownership process. You will be prompted to create an Enphase account if you do not have one already. (When prompted to create your account, select Other on the New User Registration page.)

Once logged in, you will have to select "Homeowner transfer ($199)" only. (Inspection report option is currently unavailable)

Homeowner transfer will transfer the product warranty to you, as well as give you access to the system’s account in Ensemble OS, the software that monitors the production and health of the system. Whereas, the Inspection Report provides insights into the health of your installed solar energy system and identifies issues that may need attention.

To request the Continuation of Coverage, please complete the transaction within 30 days of completing the change of ownership process.

Upon successfully submitting the change of ownership request the homeowner will get an email receipt of the payment to the email address used to submit the request. The change of ownership requests are completed within 48 hrs of submission. Once the request is completed, an email confirmation and a site access email are sent to the new homeowner.
